We run the usual loop and then head over to a local pub for some post run fun. Make sure you bring some reflective gear and lights. As always runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Be sure to get to the shop before 6pm so everyone knows the route and has someone to run with!

The run begins at Miller’s Food Market in Manchester and finishes at the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department, with a fire escort from start to finish. The target pace is around 10:00/mile, and all runners are welcome to join. All proceeds benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Enjoy the downhill of Bell Road while preparing for the uphill that awaits you. This is the perfect course to provide you a great warm-up to the rest of your marathon! Location(GPS): 730 Tahoma Farm Road, Westminster, MD, 21158. Tahoma Farm Road is off of Route 31 that runs past the McDaniel College golf course. Parking will be limited in the park's parking lot but there is plenty of parking available on the roads around the baseball field. This community event welcomes runners and walkers of all levels for a morning on the Wakefield Valley Community Trail. The 5K begins at 8:30am at Tahoma Farm Boulder Park and follows paved paths through the naturalized Wakefield Valley area. Walkers are welcome and can choose a shorter 2K (1.25-mile) course. More importantly, your miles support a great local cause. This popular short distance race series kicks off with the Fallfest Mile on September 24 during our 47th Annual Westminster Fallfest. The series continues with the Spooky Sprint on October 24 for our Downtown Spooky Saturday event and November 28 for our Jingle Bell Run during the Miracle on Main Street event. Learn more here: https://westminsterfallfest.com/ See more details Healthy Kids Running Series Healthy Kids Running Series Winters Mill High School, 560 Gorsuch Rd, Westminster, MD 21157, USA Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event. High School: We also welcome our high school runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race. Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners. Makeup Date Information: 11/1/2026 Single Day Racing: Single day registration opens 1 hour before each race and must be completed onsite. The fee covers one race only. Single day participants are not eligible for series scoring, overall results, or an event T-shirt. Participants may upgrade to the full series to receive scoring and a T-shirt for races after the upgrade. Upgrade instructions can be found HERE. Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5!
